This Privacy Policy explains how Bokuwahyde (“Bokuwahyde,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Bokuwahyde mobile app, Bokuwahyde.com, and related Bokuwahyde services that link to this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, account information, Community posts or replies, support messages, and choices you make inside the app.

The app may also collect or store information needed to operate its features, including notification preferences, push-notification tokens, device or app information, account and membership access status, and technical information generated when the app communicates with our backend services.

If you choose to connect or authorize a third-party platform, such as TikTok or another social network, we may receive limited account, profile, authorization, or content information that the platform allows you to share with us. We do not receive your social-media password from those platforms.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain Bokuwahyde services; create and manage accounts; remember your notification choices; deliver requested push notifications; operate Community features; determine access to member-only areas; connect approved social-platform features; respond to support requests; protect the app from abuse or fraud; troubleshoot and improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, the app may send alerts about Bokuwahyde content, livestreams, social-media posts, Community activity, Baby Bats updates, Tattoo Experience information, merchandise, and other categories you choose. You can change notification categories inside the app and can disable app notifications through your device settings.

Third-Party Services

Bokuwahyde relies on service providers and third-party platforms to operate certain features. These may include cloud database, authentication, hosting, push-notification, email-delivery, social-media, membership, payment, and content platforms.

Those services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. When you follow a link from Bokuwahyde to another service, your use of that service is governed by that service’s policies.

Social Platform Integrations

When you authorize a social-platform integration, we use the permissions you approve only to provide the related Bokuwahyde feature. Access may include reading limited public or authorized profile or content information and maintaining authorization tokens needed for the connection.

You may revoke a platform authorization through the applicable platform when that option is available. Revoking access may disable the related Bokuwahyde feature.

Sharing of Information

We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the app and website; with third-party platforms when you direct us to connect to them; when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Bokuwahyde, our users, or others; or in connection with a business reorganization, transfer, or similar transaction.

We do not disclose your account information to advertisers for them to access your private Bokuwahyde account activity.

Children’s Privacy

Bokuwahyde services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, website, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the policy will be updated when changes are made.
